Web page update

September 14, 2009

As an obsessive-compulsive geek I am constantly seeking the “optimal” way of doing things. Regarding my web site this has meant moving from a self-hosted php site to a very light web site with the blog part on Blogger, then Wordpress.com and then everything on a self-hosted Wordpress site.

Now, I am finally back to basics with everything on my own web page. Everything is static html generated by a Perl script from an SQLite database which I populate from simple Markdown formatted text files using another Perl script. Now I finally have control of every detail on my site, just as I like it :)
